DESCRIPTION:Porin Päivä Saturday 26 September 2026 will mark exactly one hundred years since the opening of the Pori Bridge. To mark this anniversary\, the Satakunta Museum will be exhibiting original bridge drawings during the Pori Days festival\; these were produced for the Pori Bridge design competition in 1924. Among the items on display is the winning entry from the competition\, which was\, however\, never realised.\n\nThe bridge drawings are on display next to the Taavi Stage at the Satakunta Museum from Thursday to Sunday\, 24–27 September. The Taavi Stage will also be screening the film *Pori’s New Bridge*\, which was completed in 1926\, the year the bridge was opened.
